GLAZING TYPES

Counterbalanced Vertical sliders

The Counterbalanced Vertical Slider or Sash window is one of the most common windows that we install. The frame on this window is 37 mm deep and 37 mm high.  This style of windows allows the top panel to slide down and the bottom panel to slide up working in the same way as your original window. We measure the break line of your original window so that the new window matches the old one exactly.

Horizontal Sliders

These types of sliding secondary glazing come in 2, 3,4 and 5 panel options sliding left and right, allowing a multitude of different configurations with reverse interlocks on the 3 and 5 panels and male and female options on the 4 panels, making the option of patio doors still  100 % usable again. All break lines are matched upon completion of one of our no obligation detailed surveys.

Framed Hinge

The Framed hinge is perfect where your primary window is a single casement and there is not a natural breakline for one of our sliding secondary glazed units to match too.  This has a slim frame which is good where space is limited but does open into the room taking up space.

Lift Out

The Lift out window is the simplest design.  Lift out windows ensure that no visible lines can be seen from inside or outside across the glass area.  Lift out windows are the bottom of the range with regards to cost having the least amount of parts and the easiest to manufacture The frame is around 20 mm in depth and around 37 mm in height so lends its self to being the most discreet window style when fitted.
